2000 Oldenburg / Thoroughbred Gelding
Chestnut - 16.2HH

In June 1999, I bred my Thoroughbred mare by Lucky Colonel S. to Phantast and
was blessed with a very beautiful colt the next may. He was chestnut with lots
of chrome and a super little guy, whom I called Phantastic Luck, or "Tic" for
short. He grew up out back in the pasture with his half sister and a couple
other horses. As I was away at Olds College, I advertised him for sale as a
three year old and he was sold to a lady in Vernon. ..... To my great surprise I
was contacted by a Savannah Brenthall from LA in August 2006, as she had just
bought "Phox" for piles of money and wanted to know his history! She sent me
pictures and I cried when I saw what he could do in the dressage ring, under
saddle! Savannah and I have kept in contact for the last six months and I
recently got back from visiting her and Phox in LA. She absolutely loves him
and he has the perfect life. He gets ridden five days a week, loves what he
does, and is a completely happy horse. She feeds him carrots by the bucketful,
and he looks amazing. The best part of the whole trip is that he remembered
me!! I am so impressed by him that I am breeding my mare by Waldkoenig (half
sister to Phox, same dam) to Phantast and cant wait to see the resulting cross!
